Primary Functions:
The Project Manager, Retail Specialty, is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of retail specialty projects under the guidance of the Manager, Logistics Centers. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all customer requests are addressed promptly, including email communications and shipment coordination in alignment with customer requirements.
- Manage the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets for retail specialty projects.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding quoting, pricing, contract inquiries, and project-related issues or scope changes.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to management, highlighting risks, delays, and opportunities.
- Prepare, maintain, and distribute accurate project documentation and reports for both internal stakeholders and customers.
- Delegate appropriate tasks to the Project Coordinators and ensure all project milestones and deadlines are achieved.
- Oversee project financials, including customer invoicing (e.g., lab work, GPS trackers, additional equipment) and inventory-related transactions such as project transfers.
- Ensure all project inventory is accurately tracked and accounted for, and complete final inventory reconciliation reports prior to project closeout.
- Continuously evaluate retail specialty project performance to identify improvement opportunities, enhance service delivery, and support organizational objectives.

- Support compliance with safety regulations and warehouse best practices.
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in logistics or project operations, including transportation coordination, inventory management, cost control, and project quoting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Previous experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).
