Primary Functions:

This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse and its staff. They ensure the warehouse runs safely and efficiently, and their responsibilities include

 

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Supervises a group of warehouse staff and their daily activities.
  2. Coordinates and oversees daily warehouse operations including picking and packing, shipping, inventory management, and documentation.
  3. Monitors and evaluates staff performance and shift goals against broader business objectives.
  4. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and guidance to warehouse staff.
  5. Ensures the safety and security of warehouse goods and materials.
  6. Utilizes the warehouse management system (WMS) to track and analyze processes and performance.
  7. Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency, productivity, and safety.
  8. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, and maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.
  9. Collaborates and communicates effectively with management and related departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve and issues that may arise.
  10.  Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

 

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years in the related area as an individual contributor

 

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:

  • Dependable daily attendance and work output
  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift 50 or more pounds without assistance
  • Ability to stand comfortably for six or more hours at a time
  • Prior warehouse and logistics experience
  • Experience with warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and computer-based inventory systems
